  2. Organization Effectiveness Practice Leader for Andersen in Europe, Middle East, India & Africa (EMEIA), between 2001 – 2004, during which period:

Mamta Saraf - Co-founder & Director

Mamta has over 12 years of experience across exports, media, IT and consulting. As a White Spaces Consultant since 2008, Mamta has played the role of a quasi CEO/COO with family and promoter run businesses, helping them to improve business performance and achieve high growth. Largely working with Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the services sector, she specialises in strategic planning and validation for organisational growth, implementation roadmaps and resource planning, aligning company goals with team targets and improving systems and processes across the business. Her experience as an entrepreneur-manager gives her a strong understanding of the mid-corporate segment. With a bias for execution and drive for building high performance businesses, Mamta helps companies improve business performance while managing the change and transition, with clear focus on enhanced brand and customer experience and engagement. Mamta has experience in project management, business planning, brand and customer experience strategy & management, change and transformation programs.

EXPERIENCE:

  1. At White Spaces, Mamta has led and delivered various consulting assignments for mid-sized businesses across verticals such as retail, healthcare, logistics and media. From helping promoters/business owners to define business strategy to alignment of organisation processes and people - to deliver the business objectives and metrics, she has worked on business improvement projects on a turnkey /BOT basis (Build Operate Transfer) basis.
  2. At Tech Mahindra Ltd. (leader in the IT telecom solutions space), Mamta led the Brand Strategy programme, working with the Leadership team on change initiatives for building a strong Services & Employer Brand. She created a roadmap from establishing Vision, Mission and Values (VMV) to internal re-alignment of systems and processes, development of expertise required for 'living the brand'. Also developed a 'Thought Leadership Work Group' - team of 14 visionaries in the company across functions - responsible for achieving deliverables in their functions to support Brand strategy. She also implemented a BOT (Build Operate Transfer) model for a robust internal communication system to foster innovation and cost/ skill synergies through knowledge management.
  3. At The Times of India, leading a team of ten in an SBU within the company. Business development and sales planning, marketing and brand management were her key areas of performance in this role. This business delivered a tenfold growth in a year, capturing the regional market where it was launched.
  4. Mamta started her career building an export mid-corporate. She scaled the business rapidly over three years. Being a start up, she worked across functions and roles, establishing the processes required to deliver business effectively for this quantum growth.
